Our progression since 1991 proves that we have become one of the world's largest consulting firms. Through our North American operations, IPA installs proven methods, systems, controls and incentives to enable business owners and their managers to maintain positive cash flow, control costs and accelerate the growth of their businesses.

1991

IPA is officially founded in Wheeling, Ill. The company is incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois.

1992

IPA has annual revenues of $5 Million.

1995

May of 1995, John R. Burgess, IPA founder and Managing Director, selected as a finalist in the "Entrepreneur of The Year" awards program sponsored by Ernst & Young LLP and Merrill Lynch.

IPA expands to Canada to become an international management consulting firm known as IBA.

1996

IPA named fastest growing management consulting company and surpasses $33 million in annual revenues.

1997

IPA expands services by forming strategic alliance IPA AI Services.

2002

IPA grows to more than 1,500 employees in North America.

2003

IPA and its affiliated companies generated revenues in excess of $184,000,000. No management consulting company has gone from zero to $100 million in revenues faster than IPA.

December 2003, Crain's Chicago Business ranked IPA as the 8th largest management consulting company in Chicago.

2004

IPA, and its affiliated companies, has served more than 100,000 clients since 1991.

May of 2004 IPA Ranked 119th Largest Privately Held Company by Crain's Chicago Business.

June of 2004, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 56th largest consulting firm in the world.

November 2004, Crain's Chicago Business ranked IPA as the 6th largest management consulting company in Chicago.

2005

May of 2005, Crain's Chicago Business ranked IPA as the 114th largest privately held company in Chicago.

June of 2005, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 61st largest consulting firm in the world.

June of 2005, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 38th largest consulting practice in North America.

2006

In February of 2006, IPA was ranked the 6th Largest Management Consultants by Crain’s Chicago Business.

July of 2006, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 41st largest consulting firm in the world.
